Hi, I'm Ali Zombie.

I'm a 20-something music journalist for Metal Hammer magazine. I get to pick the brains of some incredibly talented people, job's a good'un.

I'm an MA History graduate and I wrote my 90-page postgrad thesis on Alice Cooper. That's what I call dedication.

I started my blog Zombies Wear Eyeliner in April 2012 with the aim of sharing my experiences with cosmetics just as I wish someone else had for me, but with an alternative, darker twist. Since then, Zombies has evolved from a drugstore beauty review blog into a graveyard full of music reviews, beauty updates, alternative style posts and lifestyle rants. I soon dropped the Eyeliner moniker and reverted to my alter ego, Ali Zombie.

I've had an unconventional life so far but I wouldn't change it for the world.
