10 Day You Challenge: 3 Films

3 Films

1. The Italian Job. The original, obviously. Michael Caine, the 60s, Turin, Mini Coopers, red white and blue - there's nothing about this movie I dislike. I know the script off by heart and it's always the movie I turn to when I need calming down, cheering up or just plain entertaining!

2. Lost In Translation. Now this might not be to everyone's tastes, but it is to mine. It's the most thought-provoking movie out there, it never explains itself because it never has to. I've never been greatly keen on visiting Japan but I've probably got this movie to blame for that! Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson are a match made in heaven.

3. Rain Man. If you've never seen this, I can't recommend it highly enough, it's just perfect. It's funny, it's heart-wrenching, it's genius. Dustin Hoffman is flawless, and his relationship with Tom Cruise is beyond anything I've ever seen in a movie, their chemistry is realistic.

This was so difficult to limit to just 3, I love movies and I love discovering new things to watch. Spider-Man, Due Date, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Fools Rush In, The Holiday, The Nightmare Before Christmas - there's so many to choose from but these were just my top three I always pull out from the shelf when I need something to watch!

    1. Thank god, another girl that loves the Italian Job! God I know what you mean though, I found it so mind-numbingly dull on the first watch, but now I just stick it on in the background while I need to relax, I always look for little hints as to whether Bill Murray's character actually loves Scarlett or not! xxx
