The UK's sun quota has dried up for the year, so I've slumped back into a rut of wearing dark eyes. I rediscovered my MUA Dusk Til Dawn palette a few weeks ago when I ran out of the black in my Undressed palette, and while I'd discarded the Dusk Til Dawn because its colour range didn't appeal to me, I found myself straying toward this purple shade which looks dazzling in the light.
It's a real compliment to me when an assistant in Boots says she 'loves' my eyes. Despite the fact I've applied to work there numerous times with not even a sniff of an interview, it's nice to know they employ people who care about the products they're selling.

Yes, it's not the greatest makeup job ever made, but this was only intended for a trip down the shops, and while this may be more effort than most of you would make for a shopping trip, it's just how I go about it!
Sorry if my posts are a bit sporadic lately, it's my 21st birthday tomorrow and I've got an awful lot planned this week! I'm spending my day with the boyfriend, then going to London to see the David Bowie exhibition at the V&A and the Pet Shop Boys on Tuesday, then a fabulous zombie-themed night out with friends on Friday! Without a doubt, you'll be seeing a post on each of those events in the near future so keep 'em peeled!
Happy Father's Day!
