It's Nearly Halloween!

Yes, I'm counting down the days, it's officially 65 days until Halloween! Any other year, my Halloween would've been planned to the tee by now, but it's been one heck of a busy year, moving house, going to uni, changing my degree at university, it's slipped my mind that my favourite time of year is fast approaching!

To celebrate, I want to bring a lot more Halloween-themed posts to the blog, after all, this is Zombies Wear Eyeliner, and what better time of year to celebrate than this?

This year, I have a lot more knowledge and experience with face painting that I feel a lot more confident with what I can come up with, I still can't believe this time last year I didn't know what blending was! *cringe*

I'm known for going overboard on Halloween and I'm making sure this year will be special as always, despite the lack of organisation. I'm hopefully going to an Alice Cooper gig in late October and my boyfriend's friend is having a party for Halloween, so at least I have somewhere to make the effort for!

One of the greatest things about this season is when Poundland debuts their Halloween displays. If you're new to face paint or dressing up, then I highly recommend what they have on offer. I've never had to use expensive face paint, I just stock up on their kits each year

One thing I can guarantee is a post or five on the face paint and costume I'll be bringing out for Dia De Los Muertos, which I'll probably be celebrating on Friday 2nd November purely because a Thursday is a rather awkward day to celebrate.

What I'd like to know is - what would you like to see me write about in the days leading up to All Hallows Eve?

♠ Face paint tutorials?
♠ Ideal costumes?
♠ Wearable makeup looks?
♠ What am I doing for Halloween/Dia De Los Muertos?

So if you're heading to a party this Halloween/Dia De Los Muertos and you're short of ideas, or you have an idea but you'd like me to put my spin on it, then here's your chance! Also, I'd love to get my lovely followers involved this Halloween, so if you have your costume/makeup already sorted for this year, pop a comment below, I love seeing other people's ideas, I feel like a Halloween ambassador, promoting Halloween to the masses!

Or perhaps there's readers that have just clicked the 'unfollow' button because they've grown out of Halloween and think it's weird that a 20 year old still dresses up, in which case, sorry and all that jazz.

  2. I love Halloween! I think I actually get more excited now than when I was a kid, haha! I'm really hoping I'm not at uni this year like I was last year (I get back very late so it's nearly over by the time I'm home).
