Primark Nail Polish Remover Wipes, £1 for 2 pots, containing 25 wipes each
We've all been there - you've spent over an hour in Primark, you've got your arms full of bargain clothes, and you're waiting in the queue that feels like it's taking forever to dissipate. You stare at the products they line up beside the counters just to distract yourself from boredom. You know they're only put there to make you spend more money.
One day I'd been in that exact same position, and I'd already bundled a load of their hand sanitisers into my already laden arms, then I spotted their nail polish remover pads. I didn't have great expectations for the quality, but I'd been stuck with just a bottle of polish remover and cotton wool buds, and believe me, if you've got glitter polish on, it's never coming off using that method, you're better off chipping it off yourself.
(Which I'll admit is a bad habit of mine, I know it damages my nails, I just can't help it! Does anyone else do the same, or am I the only blogging criminal out here?)
These pads are absolutely soaked in remover, which I've found with previous pads packaged in this way isn't always the case, I've found them to be relatively dry before.
They smell divine, full of fruity scents and that's rare in a nail polish remover, even the more expensive brands claim to smell pretty but in actual fact they're full of deceptive chemicals, sitting there lying to themselves. I hope they're proud of themselves, those chemicals. Tut tut.
Glitter nail polish? No problem for these, they make an easy job of sweeping the glitter off with a few strict scrubs, and the pad doesn't disintegrate with the strain either, which I've found so many others do, it stays intact regardless. I've found one pad to last through about 15 nails, so it's definitely worth the money.
So if you're looking for a nail polish remover that actually does the job, that doesn't give up at the first hurdle, then you should definitely reach for these next time you're waiting in the queue!
