Happy belated Christmas fellow zombies! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are slowly recovering from the excessive eating! It's safe to say the sales have commenced and the Christmas spirit has disappeared, so now's a good a time as any to do the highly controversial 'What I Got For Christmas' post. I personally love reading these kinds of posts, especially when I have gift cards ready and waiting to be used and I'm totally lost for inspiration, so I see no harm in sharing my own too! Here's my quick little disclaimer - I'm not bragging. Not by any means, bragging is nowhere near my style, I resent anyone with the slightest hint of an inflated ego. Besides, when do we complain about someone posting about their birthday presents or things they've bought themselves? What makes Christmas so different? </rant over>
First I have to apologise for the horrific lighting on my photos lately, as I'm still using my iPhone 3GS, I have no flash to help with the dull winter light, plus we live on a main road and opening our curtains to let natural light in only causes trouble with passers-by. We're Zombies after all, we don't need natural light...
Mummy Zombie knows I want to go to China in 2014 and she ordered me both a big China travel guide and a children's one by accident!
Grabbed these new earphones with a gift card Mummy Zombie wasn't using, I have to admit I thought I'd never love anything but the earlier generation of Apple headphones but these are so comfortable and so much better quality!
I adore candy canes, so much that I stock up like a mad person after Christmas.
Oh, and I bought myself the Real Techniques Starter Set, look at them, they're already black!
That's supposed to be a black sequin blazer, but lighting failed me. I've wanted one of these for absolutely centuries and I'm so excited but now I have no idea where I'll wear it!
And here's a complimentary photo of exactly how I spent Christmas Day...
All in all I've had a lovely Christmas, as usual it was just me and my parents and that's how it's going to stay! Although I'll admit I'm feeling a lot more Christmassy now it's all over, I listen to Christmas songs more in the weeks following the big day and New Year than I do before Christmas!
How was your Christmas? Link me to your Christmas present posts, I'd love to read them!
