Topshop, Primark, Lush and T K Maxx Haul!

I really shouldn't be spending this much money, but when I'm in a city where all the good stocked shops are, I can't help it, I never know when I'll next go back there!

Topshop lipstick in Depth - £8
I've never owned anything from Topshop's beauty range before because the city I live in doesn't have a Topshop, and the nearest Topshop doesn't even have a beauty stand, so I knew I had to buy something when I saw it, and this gorgeous deep purple shade caught my eye. It's not black, as the deceptive lighting is showing, but you'll have a review of this fairly soon, I'm loving it already!

Primark Jackass Sweater - £12
You all know I love Jackass, and even though this was from the men's section, I couldn't help it. I have a phobia of tight necked clothes, but I'm going to brave it for this.

Primark Black Sabbath Tee - £8
I *ADORE* Primark's range of band merch, and of course, being the lifelong Ozzy Osbourne obsessive, I had to get my hands on a Sabbath shirt eventually. Yes, it's white, not my favourite colour, but I'm willing to risk it purely for the appreciation of the most amazing band. I also love the sleeves on this, I'm never too keen on t-shirts but the sleeves are folded up just a bit so it's a bit more flattering! Strangely enough, this is a size 6 but it's more of a 10 fitting, perhaps that's just the look they were going for but still worth pointing out! I've felt severely guilty for not picking up a Sabbath shirt at Download Festival when I saw them last year, but now I can rest easy. £8 well spent.

Primark Bowie vest - £8
I can never have too much Bowie merch. The logo reminds me of Flash Gordon, which is probably why I love it just that little bit more. This fits like an absolute DREAM too, I know Primark sizing is always a bit hit-and-miss but I pick things up in a 6 and they're usually baggy, but this is a perfect snug fit.

Primark Ramones vest - £8
I've been staring at this for months and never picked it up, but I'm so glad I finally did. I don't know too much about the Ramones, but I've seen my mum's face light up whenever she sees this shirt, so I think she secretly likes them! I'm in love with the beaded logo on this, while I'm still picking red beads off myself, it's a great texture! They only had this left in a size 10 and it's absolutely humongous, so if you're interested in Primark vests, make sure to size it up against yourself before you plunge for it, they're really hit-and-miss.

Primark Studded Cowboy Boots - £10
Yay for the world's most professional photography! I've loved cowboy boots for a while now but I never thought they'd suit me, but when I grabbed these on offer, I couldn't care less if I looked like some obscure spaghetti Western extra. I can't stop staring at them!

Lush Lust Gorilla Perfume - £5
I'm in love with this scent, it's like having a jasmine plant following you around. It's so strongly scented, I can still smell it on my wrists the day after I've used it. Product win!

Butter London Duo - £9.99
Admittedly I just bought these both because I've yet to try anything from Butter London but I hear so many YouTubers raving about them. A lip gloss and nail polish in a shimmery gold shade called West End Wonderland, once my nail's healed, I'll be able to try on this gorgeous polish and let you know what it's like!

OPI Is That Silva? - £12.99
Ever since the OPI Skyfall collection came out, I've been sulking and staring at swatches, wishing I had one. But now I can finally say I own at least one. While it's a magnetic lacquer, I think this will be beautiful without the magnet pattern, so I'm super excited to give this a try. Plus the name makes me smile, I think Silva is one of my top 3 favourite Bond villains.

Apologies as usual for the rubbishy lighting, I have very little time to take my blog photos around my uni work so I just have to make do with my shite bedroom light!

On a side note, I'm in the process of creating a post about all my band shirts, but as you can see, my collection is ever increasing and it's going to take me a long long time to get together one single outfit post with them all featured, so what I'm going to do is gradually update with outfit posts featuring my band merch, then once I've reached the end of the collection, I'll make a summary post! I hope that's okay, for anyone who requested a post about my band merch, I'm afraid it's going to take a while sorry!

What lovely things have you bought lately? Or are you on a spending ban?

  1. I <3 band tshirts, I saw a G'n'R vest in Primark once but they never had it in my size.

    1. Oh no! They're really running low on GnR ones around here too, they didn't even stock up the sizes properly last year when they came in! :( xxx

  2. I may have to venture into Primark some time soon! My band shirts are at least four years old now and are beginning to look a bit worn.

That Topshop lipstick looks lovely! I've not tried their make up range either, partly because I find Topshop a bit frightening and also because I've always felt it's a bit overpriced? It looks like my kind of colour though!

    1. Haha that's a good sign of much loved band shirts though! Primark are amazing for band shirts, especially when I have a strange phobia of round neck tshirts and all Primark's tops are low-cut necks! Yeah I'll admit it's not the greatest lipstick, it doesn't last very long so it's not exactly worth the price, but I'm consoling myself with the fact I just needed to give their range a try! Perhaps their paler shades would be more worth the money, it's just hard to find shades like this in drugstores! xxx

    1. God me neither! Why do they make them so narrow?! I'm a size 5 and I'm still coming home nursing my poor downtrodden little toes after wearing these! xxx

  5. Oh gosh, I was looking at that exact same Butter London duo in our local TK Maxx the other day. It was the lippy that really got my eye in that one, is it pretty applied?

I'm jealous of your Primark boots. Their shoes are always too narrow for my silly wide deformed feet :( and they have such lovely ones too

    1. Haha well it proves Butter London are trying desperately to get rid of this set! I haven't actually given it a good old lip swatch but on my hand it's a beautiful translucent gold, the red glitter is a little odd though, I'll review it on the lips and let you know soon! You're not alone, I can't fit into these without discomfort, I expect they're hoping everyone has anti-Hobbit feet! My poor little toes are contemplating leaving me and phoning Childline to claim toe abuse... xxx

    1. Yay it's great to hear I'm not alone, I love the purple lips, can't get enough of it! Yeah no two Primarks are the same, really doesn't help when you see someone on a blog singing the praises of something you'll never find in your store, mine is absolutely hopeless! xxx
