Never let them take the light behind your eyes.

A non-beauty related post for you now, rather a link to my music blog, where I posted last night about the breakup of MCR, the most influential band in my life for the past decade.

If you follow me on Twitter, you've been subjected to the constant tweets in denial, anger and grief at the loss of my favourite band, and some of you are probably thinking 'it's just a band, grow up' or 'they'll be back' or even 'MCR are shit I'm glad they're gone'. If it's the latter, please let me know, as I don't actually want to consider people who think that as 'followers'. Of course, you're entitled to your own opinion, but I too am entitled to my opinion. It's a blatant disregard for someone else's feelings. Anyone who's passionate about music knows what it's like to have an artist that helps you through tough times, and I'd never throw it in their face when that artist quits music. That, to me, is the most heartless thing.

But if you're not one of those people, and you'd like to read my little tribute to MCR, then click the link below...

I couldn't leave this post without a video of the most touching, emotional, powerful and inspiring performance from MCR. This is Cancer from The Black Parade Is Dead! DVD. This is what we Killjoys live for.

    1. Completely with you on that, they had divisions and arguments for a while, for a start the drummer plague, but I hoped it would never happen :( x

    1. Totally, at least we're all in the same boat eh? I read a Killjoy's comment saying that 'at least we're a family again now', totally accurate, after all the crap that's divided us, Danger Days in particular, we're back together again :) x
