#altbloggers - The Alternative Hashtag

As Claire from Divine Obscurity mentioned in her post today, we've had a brainwave - where's the Twitter hashtag for alternative bloggers?

The bbloggers, fbloggers and other hashtags are all well and good, but because they're so popular, it's hard to keep track of bloggers that don't follow the mainstream ideas of fashions and styles. Without sounding painfully hipster, there should be somewhere for the alternative, whether it be goth, steampunk, cyber, or emo.

So if you think a 'goth look' constitutes more than a teeny tiny flick of eyeliner, if you're the top of the corsets, or even if you're just a little bit weird, #altbloggers should be the place where you find like-minded bloggers.

I for one can't wait to see this hashtag evolve into something amazing, I always feel like my reading list is short of a good alternative blog or five. So it would mean the world if you could pass the message along, just to let other altbloggers out there know, and hopefully before long we'll have our own little nocturnal community!
